Antarctica’s tipping point is not far away if we continue business as usual – COP26 / SCAR

The best-case scenario if we curve CO2 emission dramatically, it is still expected a contribution of at least 15 cm of sea level rise by 2100. If we don’t start implementing climate action policies to reduce CO2 emissions before 2070, we might break a threshold where irreversible changes might be imminent. Current RCP 8.5 predictions consider a 10 m sea level rise increase by 2300 and a 4.3 °C increase by 2100, if we fail to act now at COP26 …
